The job
• has an overview of the engineering and operational aspects of the project;
• maintain contacts with clients regarding engineering aspects;
• engineer stowage plans, lifting plans, sea fastening calculations and drawings and prepare technical documents;
• make designs and calculations for projects;
• manage purchase of required materials via the Purchase Department;
• execute high profile projects together with Cargo Superintendent, i.e. lead projects on location abroad;

The profile
• educated to B.sc or M.sc level or equivalent (i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or Civil Engineering);
• ability to assess and perform structural calculations and designs;
• knowledge of marine engineering (vessel stability, ship motions, etc.);
• fully conversant in English (verbally and in writing);
• willing to travel;
• social team player with hands-on attitude;
• keen and analytical with good communication skills;
• pro-active and independent.
